Sawjian

Sawjian is a village in Mandi tehsil of district  Poonch  of  Jammu & Kashmir . It is situated 36 kilometers in the north-east of Poonch town near Line of control. The valley comprises of Gagrian, Narian, Rangwar, Sari Mangyana, Brari, Gali Madan and Kopra. The valley opens towards Kashmir valley through Chour Pass, Dewar Pass and Jamia Pass.   The climate, terrain, vegetation and geographic conditions of Sawjian resembles that of Gulmarg. The valley is surrounded by snow clad high peaks of Pir Panjal, thick Deodar forest with rich natural vegetation. Crystal clear Gagrian stream passes through the heart of the valley. Noori Chamb

Noori Chamb      Noori Chamb is a waterfall in the headwaters of the Poonch river in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is situated in Pir Panjals  and is popular for a waterfall with historic importance and its natural surroundings. Located at a distance of around 45 km from Poonch, it is situated between Behramgala and Chandimarh which was one of the major heal thing camps of Emperor Jahangir and his successors. It is at a distance of 10 km from Bufliaz on right side of the historical Mughal Road.         Noori Chamb translates as "Noor's waterfall". Mughal Emperor Jahangir was a great lover of nature. According to locals, Mughal Emperor Jehangir admired the beauty of this waterfall so much that he named it as "Noori Aabshar" after his Queen Noor Jehan.
